J. Kayleigh Chevrier
Ms. Chevrier graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music and English. While at Ohio State, she focused on her music education, performing at various competitions, venues, and events, including a summer program at the Manhattan School of Music. Ms. Chevrier returned to her home state of California and received her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she received an Emery Merit Scholarship, competed in Honors Moot Court, was a founding member of the Animal Law society, and served as Co-President of the Student Bar Association.
Ms. Chevrier interned for the Honorable Nathan D. Mihara at the Sixth District Court of Appeal, focusing on criminal and civil law matters. She also worked for various family law firms in San Jose, and interned at Bay Area Legal Aid, where she primarily assisted victims of domestic violence. Ms. Chevrier started as a law clerk at Nguyen & Limon following her competion of the July 2019 bar exam. After successfully passing the exam on her first try, she became an associate attorney in January 2020.
In her free time, Ms. Chevrier can be found cheering for the Buckeyes, watching hockey, and sharing her love of music with others.
